Women’s Health Talk

Dr Baloch has organised a ‘Women’s Health’ Patient Education event on Tuesday 25th June at Walkden Gateway with Consultant Gynaecologist, Dr Sujata Gupta.  The talk will commence at 6pm and finish at 7pm.  The room only holds a maximum of 50 people so please phone 0161 787 7700 to book your place if interested.

You can make an appointment with the doctor or nurse by telephoning 0161 702 5310, calling in person when reception is open or use our on-line appointment system.  If you would like to register to use the on-line appointment bookings please speak to a member of staff. Appointments to see the doctor can be made in advance or booked on the day.  Please remember that an appointment is for one person only. If another member of your family needs to be seen another appointment should be made.

You can find details here.  You can talk to your pharmacists in confidence - even about the most personal symptoms. Most pharmacies now have a quiet area away from other customers where you can speak to the pharmacist more privately.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly. Appointments are pre-bookable.

The surgery is no longer able to book ambulances for patients attending hospital. For first outpatient and first diagnostic appointments please telephone 0800 0924020.  All follow up appointments and discharges etc must be booked by the hospital.
