
The This Van Can ovarian cancer awareness roadshow is coming to Greater Manchester in February, March and April 2025.
Come and find out about the key symptoms of ovarian cancer, learn about your ovaries, pick up some information or chat to our friendly staff.

The roadshow will tour all 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester and will usually be open from approximately 10am until 6pm although this may vary from location to location based on local opening hours. Venues will be added as soon as they are confirmed.
Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian cancer affects the ovaries and mostly affects women over the age of 40 but can affect all age groups.
Symptoms of ovarian cancer include frequently (roughly 12 or more times a month) having:
- a swollen tummy or feeling bloated
- pain or tenderness in your tummy or the area between the hips (pelvis)
- no appetite or feeling full quickly after eating
- an urgent need to pee or needing to pee more often
Other symptoms of ovarian cancer can include:
- indigestion
- constipation or diarrhoea
- back pain
- feeling tired all the time
- losing weight without trying
- bleeding from the vagina after the menopause
